I was looking forward to the movie, considering all the hype, like a promotion appeared on the amazing race. sadly, i didnt really enjoy the movie cos the theatre's screen is so small and the seat is so cramped, for your info, i went to JEC. the movie was a rush and quite a lot of stuff was cut off, like the black cryptex that is supposed to be inside the white one and the divine proprtion thing. however, the essence of the book is still there. i enjoyed the beautiful paintings and was quite excited to see the lourve building and the various churches. btw, paul bettany (silas) is hot and he acted well too. you can check out this website- http://www.albinocode.com/ in which a real albino monk plays silas in a short film parody. apparently, he's quite unhappy that a non-albino got to play the role of silas. as for tom hanks and audrey tautou, i think they did alright. hmm, heard that they are making angels and demons into a movie too, hopefully it will be better than the da vinci code.
